The Royals have traded right-handed pitcher Jason Adam to the Toronto Blue Jays. This came about cash considerations. The twenty-seven year old pitched in 32 1⁄3 innings for the Royals last year. He had a 6.12 ERA. He actually turned to the Royals, after going into the minors! The Royals must be feeling satisfactory in their bullpen, obviously, or else they would not have traded him.
